Yep, trying to goto the Pacers game and am just waiting to see if I can actually make it. I don't remember them taking this long in the past to announce the times.

 

Pacers game here too. I've already got tickets, but it'd be nice for them to say something about times. I assumed they'd do it during/after the games last night.

 

for real, he inherited a shit storm and was still expected to make a run in the playoffs with two dudes that can not co-exist with each other? unrealistic.

 

Happens to a lot of people, it seems like McHale was the guy who tried to manage everyone's personalities and bring them together while letting Bickerstaff draw up what he wanted.

 

im pulling for the blazers/hornets these playoffs, i wish hornets/heat were not a matchup this year as i like both teams. but i gotta lean with frank the tank.

 

with all the drama surrounding the team this year you have to think free agents will reconsider playing there next year, haha.

 

I'm just glad they didn't get some elite coach, who would want to manage that dumpster fire even?

 

I wish Brian Shaw would come back to the Pacers coaching staff as the head coach

 

i would imagine JVG and walton will be high on the totem pole in the coaching search, and supposedly harden is having some say in who they hire. i just think they are giving harden too much influence as it seems he is egotistical and alienates himself from teammates. i mean its not all his fault, but i think he is probably the root of it.

I don't know who my first choice would be if Vogel were to be gone, but I liked Shaw a lot as an assistant.

He was horrific in Denver... Horrific. He's always been a good assistant and that's where he should stay.

 

He's a winning coach, people hate him far too much around these forums

Was he? I never got to see a big enough sample size of their games to make a proper judgement, and always wondered how much of it was inheriting a bad team.

 

I don't only think that, lots of people I respect believe that as well. The cbs guys used him as a running joke forever, one of them even covered the nuggets lol you don't want that.

I also don't think Vogel would be fired so it's probably irrelevant
