I love Westbrook. Also, is there anyone in the NBA who likes CV? It seems like everyone hates that dude.

That Durant/Westbrook presser was the best

Did anybody see that clip of Westbrook telling some Dallas fan to sit down and shut the fuck up. Dudes the best.

Sucks to hear about CP3. Not a huge fan of him but I always hate the what-ifs. This really helps the Warriors IMO as this series is going to go 6 or 7 and they'll get a tired Blazers team or a Paul-less Clippers. You would think the NBA would want their stars healthy for the playoffs but they'd rather run them ragged for 82 games, it sucks.

Kerr winning Coach of the Year is kinda weird to me. Also, kinda bummed Stevens only placed sixth, but at least he's ahead of Doc.

mitchell should have won based on his suits tbh

  12. almost seems like a formality since they set the record, but I feel like Stevens probably should have won.

    Kerr couldn't lose, c'mon

I had pegged Stevens in 4th, with kerr/walton splitting it, Pop and Portland coming in ahead of him. 6th is a little low if you ask me.

  15. I guess I'm always biased towards the coach who does unexpectedly well. forgot about Portland (although until two seconds ago I didn't know who their coach was). in the case of Kerr/Walton & Pop I expected 60+ wins, if not quite the level that they had.

I definitely don't think the coach whose team has the best record should always win, but if your team has the best ever regular season record it's in the bag. It's deserved.

If he coached the whole year i'd agree. But clearly his coaching wasn't a huge impact on that success considering how well they did without him.

i agree that it would be nice to see an overachieving coach win it versus the overall best record, i can't complain with kerr getting it though as they did just finish with the best regular season record ever.

hard to give coach of the year to a guy that missed over half the season. should have been stotts

Stotts is definitely the coach of the year, but i mean..the warriors did win the most games ever. It's hard considering how many games they missed but...you know...most games ever.

Man, that's a bummer. This is a huge break for Portland (and Golden State) especially with Paul likely out too.

Paul is in surgery he is definitely out.
