I'm pretty sure the monstar aliens sucked the talents out of the entire Panthers offense and then all five morphed into just Von Miller's body.

 

Now starting at Power Forward for the Cavs ..... VON MILLER.

 

@Jason Tate - I really like you man, but in every single way we are opposites when it comes to sports haha.

 

I'm ok with that while I bask in a super bowl victory. :-D

J.A. Adande says that Lebron-Steph is approaching Magic-Bird territory.. Am I weird for thinking that's crazy talk?

 

Yeah, that's absurd. They're clearly the two best in the NBA right now, but there's no real sense of rivalry between them like there was with Bird-Magic. They played one finals against each other up to this point and there's no built in Cavs-Warriors rivalry like there was with Lakers-Celtics, and that's not even including the college rivalry they had too.

 

Oh my god.

 

That's why I don't watch the pre-games on ESPN/ABC

 

I use anything ESPN related as little as I can these days beside just watching the games.

 

Magic/Bird saved the NBA. Curry vs. Lebron is an enjoyable match up. Two completely different worlds.

 

This fact alone stands to make this a more competitive and entertaining Finals than last year.

 

Yup, Magic-Bird had huge impact way beyond what happened on the court and you'd think anyone involved with sportswriting would know that, unless he was just spewing hot takes for the sake of doing so, but Adande isn't usually like that, I don't think.

My heart says Cavs in 7. My head says GS in 6. Should be a hell of a series. Hoping this is finally our year.

 

Is just me or do ESPN's announcers always sound really quiet volume-wise?

 

Gonna say Warriors in 6, but wouldn't be surprised to see either win in 7.

 

I usually end up muting them anyway. Haha.

 

I don't care who wins as long as Curry and LeBron both go off every game.

 

I always wonder if the players are super nervous, but then remember this is such a part of their lives now and they've been doing it since they were kids.

Still, I wonder if nerves pop up for players like Kyrie?
