So are the refs at least partly to blame for the spurs losing the series with two close non calls?

 

Not the half I expected. Granted I know OKC too well to feel too elated. Team knows how to take their foot off the gas and let teams back in like no other.

When things go wrong for Spurs they head downhill quickly. An L would be the 7th time Pop/Duncan lost at least 3 straight to end series.

 

Thunder want it more than we do. They don't have five chips, their fire is crazy right now.

think we definitely would have still lost game 5 even if they called the foul. But the waiters call? Definitely

Watching Duncan play is legit Kobe Bryant painful right now.

 

Spurs are looking so old and outmatched athletically. I picked OKC and Cleveland to meet in the finals. Both teams are peaking at the perfect time. Warriors/Thunder should be an epic 7 game series.

This is going to be a sad way for Duncan to go out if he calls it a career now.

 

I didn't play. Probably poor phrasing there, but their game plan was basically:

1) Kick it to Koufos in the post. He's 6'10" and can shoot over anyone.

2) Kick it out to Koufos beyond the arc. He's 6'10" and can shoot over anyone.

Did you see the line-ups he was playing? He's ready for summer vacation and all the fruit drinks he can handle. Hell, probably started early.

 

Also, not 100% sold on Duncan retiring. He was solid all season and didn't fall apart until the playoffs.

I've heard that the knee injury Duncan had mid season hasn't really recovered. I think he'll go one more year.
