  1. I've finalized my wish list for the Hornets pick (if we keep it)

    Taurean Prince
    Denzel Valentine
    Brice Johnson
    Thon Maker

I do think there's a good chance we trade the pick. What could Hornets get for pick 22 or a package of 22 + Lamb and/or Hawes?

I'd be surprised if Juan hernangomez lasts past 15, unless a major fall or two happen... He's one pure shooting spaniard.

Kyle o Quinn, Calderon and a bag of cash

  4. I'm thinking Henson and MCW for 22 and Lamb or something similar

i feel like milwaukee would move monroe before henson if they were to move a big man. he is on a more cap friendly contract when the cap goes up.

keep hearing rumblings we move the 5/asset(s) for butler, as long as it isn't wiggins or towns, im good (obviously)

but if we keep the pick i would still want dunn or jamal murray.

I don't think you're going to get much for an outside the lottery pick just based on how many analysts think this draft is super thin. Maybe if Milwaukee was desperate to unload salary for impending FA and a guard they liked was still there or something but I doubt it.

the Butler thing seems to keep popping up for us. It could be just Thibs trolling Chicago at this point but the smoke isn't going away.

0% chance Wiggins would go in the deal. Could see LaVine/Dieng/5 for him though.

I personally would not want to see Zach go simply for the goodwill he has had here; kids fucking love him and he is a great person for the city.

Higher chance Boston gets him :(

i think my only issue with the trade would be we would have to include lavine obviously, but i like his upside and his cap friendly numbers. but i also see the point of view in wanting to try and win right now.

I think the Timberwolves would be much better off sticking with a core of Towns/Wiggins/Lavine. I thought Lavine looked pretty good down the stretch for them this year. There's still a lot of potential there. Plus I think Butler/Wiggins wouldn't be a great fit together.

but if they had a core of butler/wiggins... that perimeter defense.

That spacing on offense though... yuck. You can't have Rubio/Butler/Wiggins on the floor at once and expect a good offense in the modern NBA.

and Butler is at 15mm I think too?

Unless Pek can be unloaded somehow, I don't know how that works and leaves flexibility.

I think we should just draft 5 and go after Batum/Deng/Anderson/Teletovic, something like that.

  15. Batum is most likely staying in Charlotte

Butler's not a good enough three point shooter to justify giving up that much for him.

The T-Wolves should go after someone along the lines of Marvin Williams - good shooter, good defender, can play off the ball.

i think butler is at like 16/17 million next year, but with the cap rise supposedly up to 92 million i don't see why they couldn't carry all three contracts if they had to.

Maybe the bulls could throw in a rose/rubio exchange... Not that the wolves would want that but it would ease the give cause they want to get rid of rose anyway

no no no no no no to anything involving getting rid of Ricky!

the floor moving up is excellent news for us and that Pek contract; we can take on more now without having to move him (IE Butler or ......Kevin?)

  23. Would TWolves trade their pick for Love? I'm not sure what he's worth. The idea of Buddy on the Cavs is cool though.

His value has never been lower; would Thibs even want Love? Does the fanbase want Love back? (I personally wouldn't mind, all bridges can be repaired)

It may depend on tonight's result if he even is moved I suppose.

I'd love for the wolves to trade Rubio, draft Murray and use the other pick to draft deyonta Davis.
