This is cool but really sad at the same time

 

I know this is looking at it in a very simple manner, but if we go strictly by who the top guys are compared to most often: Lebron (Simmons) and KD (Ingram), the choice for number one is simple. Take Simmons.

I don't think either player fully fits those comparisons, however the similarities are undoubtably there.

I think the Raptors get the Knicks pick and Denver has the right to swap picks

Since Denver ended up higher than the Raptors there's no reason for them to swap

just because we have thibs now doesn't mean we need butler

 

Butler is a good basketball player

 

obviously, but if they traded for him that would be around be 40 million between him, rubio, and pek. i would be all for if one of the other contracts (pek probz) could be dumped.

 

Pek could be dumped permanently lol his species is extinct. I was kind of hoping they'd get 2 and take Ingram but they should definitely take a true point if they can or trade the pick for one cause Rubio definitely makes them worse offensively.

 

and that if he plays half a season everyone is shocked. i hope they go the larry sanders route and just pay him small amounts for the next 5/6 years, its dead money but he has no value. and as for the draft if murray is there at 5 they should take him, but i could see them trading out also. i am indifferent on rubio, i wouldn't mind replacing him but i don't know exactly who will be better via the draft or FA this summer.

I could see Thibs loving Dunn at 5 due to his defensive skill. I could also see him open to a trade.

 

Apparently Skal Labissiere has looked great in his pre-draff workouts. I wouldn't be against trading up for him.
