Game like this is where missing Carson hurts. Never even going to see Tommy Layne and Matt Barnes in a game if he's healthy to take an inning

 

Why can't the cards just pull out a win. So many lost opportunities.

 

I am in love with Saltalamachia. I knew that was a great signing.

 

The Mets offense has arrived and it is glorious.

 

Yeah they should have won that game. Runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and can't get a run, damn. Heyward's throw to the plate was pretty stellar though.

The meme is obviously bad and his opinions don't agree with mine, but he's still allowed to have them and i'm not gonna bash him for it.

 

I'm allowed to bash him for his shitty opinions as much as he's allowed to have them. That makes no sense to me. You are not obliged to just say "I disagree but thats ok!" to every horrible harmful opinion

 

As someone who doesn't care much for the Mets, this disappoints me. As a Pirate fan and someone who stills love Walker, I'm so glad to see he's off to such a great start.

 

Never said you weren't I just said I personally wasn't going to even if I do disagree with his opinion.

 

Im pumped because he's already done so much more than Murphy would have at this point. (At least IMO) Wildly better defensively too.

 

Murphy's having a pretty great start to his season too though. As far as defense, I don't know how good or bad Murphy was, but Walker was always pretty solid for the Bucs. Not going to be a Gold Glove winner, but for the most part pretty consistently reliable.

 

Totally. No doubt Murph is also off to a good start this year. Im comparing to his season starts with the Mets in the past. Which haven't always been stellar. Big fan of Walker so far though! Him and Duda going back to back on HR two nights in a row is spectacular.

 

Fun Harper numbers:

He's got more HRs (7) than strikeouts (6). With runners on, he's 7 for 12 with 3 2B, 4 HR, 6BB and 1 K.

 

I want to hate him but I can't.

 

I want him on my team.

 

Since I'm a homer I don't know how to objectively answer this: Is he better than Trout yet/now/at the moment?

 

With how Trout's been playing lately he has surpassed him. There are some mechanical issues as well as protection issues with Trout right now that needs to be fixed before I think it's an argument again.

 

I'm just gonna say it, but I think this Harper kid might be decent
