  1. I think the rule is once Miller warms up, he comes in. I'm sure he's only pitching that one inning now, though.

i think they mostly don't want to cubs doing anything this game. don't want to give them an ounce of confidence heading into tomorrow. smart imo.

  5. Who had Cubs not hitting their first homer until the fourth game and it being off Miller? No one? Alrighty.

This feels weird. more than anything I'm happy for my family and others who have been fans for 40+ years. I really going the Indians will do it.

Bauer needs to go at least 6 tonight, which is asking a lot from him. I didn't agree with Miller coming in game up 6, but I get why he did. Regardless, puts more pressure on Bauer tonight, which worries me.

I think Indians bats stay hot tonight.

    I have a good feeling!

I expect Bauer to go about four or five innings. I think Terry will continue to have a short leash since most of our bullpen is good to go. I expect Salazar to be a real option, along with Miller.

I actually think he may go with Merritt early on (4th or 5th inning) just because Cubs struggle to hit off speed.

I would not expect to see Merritt at all this series. He went there last series because he literally had to. Salazar's progress and overall ability to go makes turning to Merritt unnecessary. Plus, there are tons of other bullpen arms to throw.

i'm pretty calm about this game. pretty much resigned to the fact of losing (the series) so kind of whatever happens happens.

Rizzo has hit at least 5 HR's foul to RF this post season lol. He just can't figure it out.

Baez couldn't care less. He's happy just golfing at dirt balls and goofing around with opposing players in the field. Good times.
