Mostly the same as last year = 97 wins and an NCLS appearance

    That's not too bad

Yeah, there's no Marmol so it's better no matter what.

Oh yeah, no one is saying that's not good enough except for Cubs bros who live in Wrigleyville.

Exactly. I think Arrieta, Lester, and Lackey are all going to have worse seasons, as per projections, but still be pretty good to very good, plus I hold a pretty high opinion on Hendricks as a back end starter. Hammel will be more than replacement level as well.

I'm excited to see what Adam Warren brings to the table, to see how many starts he gets as well as how effective he'll be out of the pen.

It's going to be a fun season for you guys. I'm hoping for just a little bit better than last year for the White Sox. It hasn't been a whole lot of fun since 2005.

I always wonder if Jose Quintana will ever get the recognition he deserves. He's been super dependable these last couple years.

My opinion is both sides let it get out of hand. Also, I don't know why you would want your child inside of a clubhouse environment with grown men all day, everyday, but maybe that's just me.

I agree with that opinion. I'm just happy that Jimmy Rollins is the one who complained because you know he talks mad shit about everyone in the clubhouse and didn't want a kid around.

agreed the kid is 14 he should be having his own life. If baseball is something he wants for his future he should focus on working at it. Playing for teams in high school and college down the line etc.

That whole situation was just weird with him having his own locker, running drills with the team, etc

I don't know. Creepy isn't the right word, but it's the first thing that comes to mind.

I found it weird that LaRoche wasn't "big on school."

It's such an odd situation and it feels weird speculating because I don't know the ins and outs and the norms of a clubhouse, but it's easy to see how the management didn't expect Drake to be around as much as he was as well as that someone complained, especially during Spring Training. Imagine trying to get your work in on drills but you have to be behind a kid in line, or have a worse locker.

But also LaRoche is a second generation player, so his life and his kids lives are just fundamentally different from the rest of us.

Also, I would have explained to my son why I was going to go make $14m this season, then retire. Again, that's just me.

Agreed. I mean I would be embarrassed if I was his kid honestly
