Same. His control was awful last night. E-Rod should be off the DL by the end of next week, so probably one more start for him and he's back to Pawtucket.

I see a decent amount of people on campus wearing Cubs gear, but I never know if I should acknowledge them in some way. I prettt much always wear my Cubs hat and today I'm wearing this shirt:

and I've passed like 4 people wearing Cubs gear today, but I just avoid eye contact because I don't know what to do.

How do others handle or think about this? Avoid? Head nod? Track them down and gush about your team?

Cubs destroying Scherzer this afternoon. 4 HRs, which ties a career high for Max.

 

Scherzer hasn't been good all season. Not surprising to see an especially good lineup tee off on him.

 

I was wearing a Dillinger Four shirt once, and saw a dude at a street fest wearing the same one, and when we saw each other and he went "AWWW FUCKIN' A MAN" and then high fived me. It was awesome so I suggest that. Unless it's like a kid or something then just give em a wink. Just kidding that's weird.

 

I live in the city my team is in so if I acknowledged every fan I'd never get anything done

Marwin Gonzalez hit his 26th career home run. A two run shot.

It was his first non-solo home run of his career.

Literally his first 25 home runs were all solo shots.

The MLB record before Marwin's 25 was Todd Dunwoody's 11.
