@ hurricanes fans I really like this signing. He showed some potential with the Sharks. Deboer just had him forever in his doghouse.

 

That 3rd pairing right hand spot is his for the taking in training camp. Basically between him and Murphy.

 

Perfect spot for him since he is an ideal bottom pairing defenseman that also can do some time on 2nd PP.

 

It's only a one year deal. We still need to sign someone to a two year for the expansion draft.
