by my count, the Devils are icing at least 8 fringe NHLer/AHLers tonight as well as playing their backup goalie IN Columbus

this could be ugly.

 

It's going to be a fun race between the hawks and wild for the top spot in the west! Go hawks!

 

Looks like Detroit playoff run is finally going to come to an end. It's going to be amazing not seeing them in the playoffs

It's going to be weird not seeing the Wings in the playoffs. Not that we've done anything while getting there as of late. It's especially going to be weird watching the draft lottery and hoping to win it

Yeah plus losing both bowmans to the hawks had to suck a little. Detroit went from the top of the montauin to the bottom. And the hawks are a modern day dynasty with the chance to win a 4th cup this year. And if It wasn't foR a bad bounce against la in game 7 it could be a 5th one

 

Losing them, plus losing Yzerman to Tampa really sucked. Would've been the perfect time for Holland to step down, but nope

 

I was at game 7 when the hawks came back to complete the 3-1 deficit to move on. That was epic. Must have sucked for you

 

It was a heartbreaker. I couldn't believe that we even almost won that series though

 

Yeah but you didn't and the hawks went on to win the Stanley cup. But it was only fitting for the hawks to beat Detroit like that with it being the last year they were in the west

 

I love being at the united center when the hawks and wings play. Hearing 22500 people chanting Detroit sucks is amazing

NJ mostly outplayed Columbus tonight. I mean, they got the 3 period goal, but I felt like they were chasing NJ most of the night. Bob just played really well.

 

Edmonton suckin ass late in the season isnt good

I take it to mean at some point during the year every team gets a 2 week bye. And in addition, there are two defined weeks of byes where half the league will take a turn being on bye.
