I'm not too upset about the Bishop trade. That's a fine return for him at this point. He's 30 and barely making it through the season after costing the team in the playoffs two years running. I'll live haha.

I keep seeing people say the trade was ok for Minnesota since it'll be a late pick. All I can think is what if they get knocked in first round and it's at least 16-20.

I hope we keep Stalberg though. He's been a solid 4th liner.

 

I think they move him because he's a UFA and he's having a good year so his value is high then they bring him back over the summer. I will legit be bummed if he's moved but I'd rather see him have another chance for the Cup.

 

Stempniak is staying for draft exposing reasons

If I had it my way I'd re-sign Stalberg and ship Stempniak off for a 2nd or 3rd

 

Stalberg wouldn't fetch much of a return regardless but yeah, I wouldn't mind keeping him. I guess they could re-sign him and trade Stempniak if more teams want him to get around the expansion issue.
