Sharks didn't learn from last season it seems because they've been linked to Hanzal and Doan and they don't need ether.

 

Shane Doan makes nearly 4 million and only has 12 points through 43 games and yet the three California teams are interested in him.

I don't get it at all.

Teams are weird.

Even though I'm not a Rangers fan, I don't like seeing Lundqvist struggle like he has. He's too good of a goalie for this.

 

hes gonna be 35 in a few weeks and has a lot of miles on him

hes obviously not THIS bad, but it might mean the downfall is coming

 

I don't see Doan improving the Ducks and it would be an idiotic move financially. DO NOT WANT.

 

Was surprised the Canes actually put Nedeljikovic with how apprehensive they've been towards their back-up goaltenders. I'm really hoping they add Halak or someone because Lack is hurt & they don't trust him when he's healthy & the other options are all too young/bad.

 

You can't have him, he is ours now ;)

 

Goddamnit do not trade Carlo. He hit a rookie wall but trading him doesn't get us closer to the playoffs. You'd think this FO would learn from trading a young top pair dman NOT EVEN TWO YEARS AGO

 

It is cool Nedeljikovic gets to make his debut in Ohio. I also think he's the first Ohio-born goalie to play in the NHL. Good story for him.

I thought Zatkoff was from there but he just played college hockey at Miami. Ned's their goalie of the future but he's probably a year away from being ready.

Yeah, Zatkoff was Michigan if I remember right. Ned got some local coverage of his pro career here in Cleveland. He's from the big hockey area here. I am happy for him and it was cool to see him go so high in the draft. He had a buddy in Cleveland that went much lower in the same draft, but I forget his name.

 

He should be the Canes starter in another couple of years. They have a lot of goalie prospects but he's the one they've put the most stock in. Hoping he works out because they've had bad luck with developing prospects in the past.

 

Last I read it was Duchene. But I've seen rumors saying both names so who knows. I'd prefer Duchene but happy with either.

 

Holy shit JVR. In so tight, nearly behind the net and roofs it.

 

JvR sucks so much at so many things, but in tight like that he is the moniest of money. I hope to gawd he doesn't have stupid contract demands. A penny over 6m and he can fuck off. 5.5 for 5/6 would be ideal.
