for those of you that live in the city of your team, how much do tickets cost you to go to games?

How much are we talking here / where do you live?

Oilers tickets are insane

 

For the Hawks, face value for standing room is $50, then into the $80-90 range for 300 level, then between $200-500 for the 100 level. I sat in the club level last month and I believe they were $130 or $150 face value (got em as a gift so not exactly sure).

 

When I lived in NC I went to Canes games weekly. $20-30 for upper level. $50-80 for lower level. Once bought seats on the glass for $100.

With your college ID you could go to the window 1 hour prior to game and get $15 upper and $35 lower. You didn't get to pick your specific seat but it was still a killer deal.

 

this is almost exactly how it is for me in NJ

 

Speaking as a Leaf, the money spent to fill the ACC for 1 game could feed all the developing nations of the world from now until the end of time.

 

Watching this Caps-Pens game and reminded of how we're still eating Rob Scuderi's contract.

Caps games depend on who they play. Upper level tickets are $50-70 if they play Pittsburgh or the Rangers but you can find tickets on Stubhub for like $20-30 if it's a weekday game against a non-rival. I got tickets for a game against the Oilers for like $25 a couple years ago. Lower level tickets are usually $100+ regardless of who they play.

 

This 2nd period in the Pens/Caps game is insane.

 

I'm so pissed. Driving home the game was 2-0 caps so I got home and didn't turn it on then check the score on my app and it's 5-4 Pens. Fuck me.

 

Turned it off at 3-1 Caps and now it's 6-5 Pens??

I think he meant he checked the score and it was 2-0 but during his drive home the Pens scored like 5 times so he missed all the goals.

It makes me feel better knowing all y'all have expensive tickets too haha. Really the cheapest oilers tickets you can get, in like the nosebleeds is about 60-70 dollars. So if that's the cheapest you can imagine how expensive the lower bowl is

 

Hopefully this matchup is the ECF this year

 

I dno, I kinda hope the Blue Jackets make it to the ECF.

I'd like to see the Jackets there too, was mostly speaking relative to last year where it was a 2nd round matchup

 

One of these teams will have to fall into a Wild Card spot for that to happen. Nice playoff format, NHL
