Hawks have given up 3 PP goals and have only had 3 shots in a 30 minute span.

Annnnd we just took a 5th straight penalty. TVR is destined for the Bench when Hjammer gets back

 

Sharks/Kings probably going to get delayed because the NHL hates the West Coast.

 

I truly think Hawks will miss the playoffs this year

Had a major brain fart and checked r/hockey and was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of threads about Matthews. I guess I'll try to wait for them to calm down before checking it again.

 

I think it's kinda funny how after Matthews had those 4 goals everyone made some kind of joke involving Mcdavid and how he passed him up.

Mcdavid in this game has 3 points and still has one more period left.

He won't be stopped ether.

 

The Crosby/Ovechkin "rivalry" is over. The age of the Mcdavid/Matthews "rivalry" has begun.

 

I was at the game. That 5v3 was awful. Just drained the building. I had the MOST annoying girls behind me. My husband and I were trying to focus on the game but they talked the ENTIRE time about her cousins husband hiring an undercover hooker and getting arrested. In the most awful, nails on a chalkboard, nasally voice. I also was squeezed between hubby and a 50 year old bro-dude who would not stop high pitch whistling in my ear.

I'm glad to be home finally.

McDavid is clearly better. Matthews v. Eichel perhaps.

 

Matthews is already on some veteran post-game interview levels.

When asked about the four goals / history / ridiculousness, he basically apologized for not back checking as hard as possible on the OT winner, and said it was a learning experience.

 

Thank god Eichel is only out 4-6 weeks. It looked much worse.
