so Pavel Zacha, Blake Speers, Miles Wood, Steve Santini, and Yohann Auvitu make the roster. all of whom are rookies.

 

Excited about the moves we made. Let's us give Fleury and McKeown a year to run shit as the top pairing together in Charlotte. Hopefully Nakladal can nail down the 3rd pairing RHD slot. Dahlbeck should be a serviceable 7th D, and more importantly, allow us to shoot Ryan Murphy into the sun.

Meanwhile Griffin Reinhart is in the AHL.

Roland McKeown made the Canes final roster. Excited to see how to does this season.

Hadyn Fleury will start the season in Charlotte. I thought he might break into the league this year but one more in AHL won't hurt.

And it looks like Aho and Teravainen will be on the same line. Cannot wait for that.

 

Thought they would put McKeown in the AHL and call him up later like they did with Slavin, but Nakladal won't be with the team until they get to Vancouver and he deserves it after how well he played in the preseason.

Don't quite get why they added Dahlbeck. He can't pass well and is pretty limited. Guess it's no big deal if he's just taking MJ's spot in the press box.

 

The Hurricanes seriously are the team of last names I've never even heard of before.

 

I kinda forgot Carolina even had a team, tbh.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if they finally take that step sooner than later They're totally gonna be the fun bandwagon AP team at some point.

In our defense half of the people mentioned in the last couple of posts have been picked up in the last week. But, it's nice to be going into a season with lots of young guys getting a chance. For the last 5 years I had no hype for the season because it was the same old garbage that had been giving us nothing. At least if we still suck it's new faces to be mad at.

This is the first time in my life I won't see the Red Wings in the playoffs. There's my prediction.

 

The Kane line scores 85% of the Hawks goals until Q breaks it up and then we cease to score goals altogether.

 

Yeah, Wings are missing the playoffs. Going to be weird seeing them in the draft lottery

 

Hopefully with the new pizzarena comes a front office without Holland.
