Torts is permanently stuck in 1998

 

As a lifelong Rangers fan, watching last nights game reminded me just how glad I am to have AV coaching the squad. Torts is a prehistoric fossil when it comes to today's game.

USA got what it deserved. The loss against Europe is far more concerning than the loss to Canada.

You'd think this would bring about change but my hopes aren't high.

Matthews / McDavid / Reily for the goal and assists is basically a Maple Leafs fan what could have been.

I don't think North America has the goaltending to hang with the big dogs. John Gibson is my favorite goalie too, but he isn't there yet


Also why did he switch to ccms he is a Vaughn guy

 

My god that first goal. Matthews fucking dangled Hedman while on his knees. That shit blows my mind.

 

I didn't realize Ekblad would be this missed with team NA but they need him bad.

I think that and young goaltending will be the fault for them if they lose right now.

Stupid NHL stacking the deck for Canada/US when they should have been doing it for Canada/NA finals.

 

Without Halak this could be 5-6 for Canada
