    Shouldn't have drafted Zeke.

Morris was going to eat behind that line.

    If Morris eats, Zeke devours.

I love Morris's rookie storyline and character and all, but he isn't even as good as Demarco Murray was. Elliott could and should be better than both.

Eh. You're talking about a dude who's dropped off every season, and who isnt a 3-down back. I like Morris a lot, but, he's a committee back now.

Smart part here is they can have Zeke take 60% of the carries in his first year or two (and play all 3rd/passing downs), so he doesnt wear out like some rookies do.

    Come back to Jacksonville lol

Would love Beachum on the left and Monroe on the right but would never ever happen

You don't need to be as good as Demarco or as good as Elliott. A productive and durable one-cut guy who can easily get 1500+ behind that line for peanuts is better than using a top ten pick on a damn running back. But, then again, I am both against taking an RB that early and I personally wasn't that impressed with Elliott, especially being the year after Gurley.

He's past the point of developing as a pass catcher, but he's still a very capable downhill running back: I actually thought his 2013 campaign was the most impressive given how good he looked even with the putrid passing game, terrible offensive line, and historically bad play calling. I see him as a better Jonathan Stewart, who was made into a serviceable three down back.

Eugene Monroe couldn't stay healthy and sucked most of the time anyway. Not even looking at the cap savings, he was going to lose the starting role to Stanley and potentially the backup LT role to Alex Lewis.

Last I heard they may try Lewis out at left guard. Either way, hope he works out for you guys.

This might seem false to you but I would absolutely say after watching this year, Stewart has more power than Alf.

  15. Alfred Morris is not better than Jonathan Stewart.

Broncos are super fucked in 2017. No QB, and already giving up 50% of their cap space to 5 guys. They'll have 20-25 guys that are viable NFL players under contract, and have maybe $40-45mil in cap space to fill out the rest.

Might be wise to see the rebuild coming and see if there's a trade to be made come training camp

Browns come out of nowhere and trade for Miller and Wilkerson.

I love Miller but it's never wise to invest that much money in a non-qb (even then it's still hampering the team). We're gonna reach the day soon imo where either they ditch the cap or its all gonna implode. Can't have these ridiculous deals taking up so much % of a teams allotted cap

Nah, the cap is what keeps this league from imploding. Do you really want the Steelers, Packers, Ravens, etc....all consistently some of the best run franchises in the league...to be at a major disadvantage to the two LA or NY teams? And its not like teams in uncapped leagues dont also hurt themselves badly by overpaying for guys that arent pitchers for example.

Broncos cant pay him cause they went all in 2 years ago. That was a franchise choice that, even then, was obviously going to hurt their future. I remember saying 2016 was gonna be the year they were fucked, but, Peyton retiring gave them some breathing room. And it paid off in the short-term.

Now the Giants appear to be the team going all-in. And they've got til 2018 to win a SB...cause when that year hits, they'll be in even worse shape than the Broncos are now. And they'll need to hand Odell a new deal that they might not be able to pull off
