Lucas Oil is nice. I have been there for NCAA stuff, but not the NFL. My mom's side of the family lives there so I know the city well. Aside from their weird liquor/beer laws, it's a fun city. Definitely gotta plan out your drinking ahead of time for an NFL game haha.

its kind of a painful irony that Baltimore stole Cleveland's original franchise and won two superbowls with it, and yet Baltimore's residents still care more about a baseball team that was terrible for that ENTIRE TIME until 2012

my job is near the taller buildings on the left side of the river and my neighborhood (not quite pictured) is just left of the center of this image's left border.

It might be a bitch to have to cross bridges but the water taxi is easy as fuck. I'll be somewhere else in the country by this time but I'd love to come back and check Jax out after they've expanded downtown to this sports complex. They're already building breweries and pubs and stuff.

Ha, I plan on road tripping up to Indy for at least one game this year, but I'll cancel those plans if everyone in this thread goes instead

Ehh, I mean on the surface, yeah, it sucks. But the reality was Cleveland couldn't do all three at the same time to meet everyone's needs and timelines. The Tribe and Cavs had solid ownership and a joint venture that was very well done. There were proposals that had the Browns getting a stadium near the Tribe and Cavs, but it would have been in a phase after the other two.

Art was losing a lot of money near the end with the Browns. The city and Art just reached a point where they were no longer negotiating in good faith. Baltimore came in with a solid plan that was ahead of Cleveland's timeline and he jumped. I think I got over it quicker than most in the city, but I was also a kid. Once the NFL said they were committed to bringing the NFL back to Cleveland I was pretty much ok. The Browns would not have been as stable if they stayed in Cleveland (because of ownership) and likely would not have taken the same players. So it's hard for me say those titles should have been ours haha. Baltimore earned them fair and square.

I'm sure there are some old guard back in Baltimore still pissed at Indy over the Colts. Heck, my grandma is still one of them. She doesn't like the Colts even though they are her hometown team haha.

All of Pittsburgh teams play downtown. Which is cool since I live only 3 miles from downtown and can just hop on the trolley right to any of the stadiums. I need to get to a Pens playoff game this series...

Yep. Seattle's entire design (highways, roads, etc) is atrocious. Whoever designed and approved I-5 to go through downtown with no way to expand is a moron.

Imagine if they build the new key arena there like they were trying to Haha it'll probably be even more packed. It's worth it tho. I could've sworn they had a plan to fix up the traffic in the area if they got the budget approved but idr

They just passed a huge transportation bill to extend light rail and such but it is so not worth the $$$ it is costing us tax payers. 25 years til it's done.

Well that's another thing, they raise the rates for the lirr by the garden like every other year so I can't say I don't get it.

are we still lucky to be here? Prestigious

As some who lives in Chicago but is a Steelers fan, I hate going to the area around Soldier Field, but may brave it for when the Steelers come to town later this year. That may be more a result of the fact that I live an hour plus away from Soldier Field via public transit than anything else.

I really dig the set up Denver has for all of our major sports teams. None of the stadiums are THAT close to each other (but still all within 10 minutes from one another) so if there is overlapping of events it's not a shit show.

Except for the Rapids stadium which is in the middle of nowhere, but ya know, no one really cares

Curious of everyone's opinion. I'm having a fight with my friend about the value of Running Backs in the NFL.

The question is, who is the last team to win a Super Bowl where their run game was the best thing they did in your opinion. This all stemmed from me HATING the Panthers pick lol.

2013 Seahawks is debatable whether you believe the run game or defense was more integral to their success.

2012 Ravens is also debatable because Rice was probably a bigger factor to their success in the regular season, but Flacco was lights out in the postseason.

Other than that, not many in the decade

That's kinda where I'm at. I said no to the Seahawkss because that was an all-time defense. Most recent one I came up with was Big Ben's first ring.

  22. McCaffrey also helps the passing game and with special teams. He's not a one dimensional player who will only help the running game. The offense and STs got better last night.

But I also agree that McCaffrey in Carolina is a good pick, can really help Cam bounce back

So tell me something awesome Supporter

I'll say this: No team with a bad run game has won since Rodgers's Packers.
