There has to be a better option available than that.

Yeah. I know the Pens/Flyers stuff. But the Eagles/Steelers never made since since we play like every four years.

Heavens no, child. The Rams are better than the Bears and have been for some time.

The Bears are a really badly ran franchise.

Depends on what you mean. How prepared he is wouldn't really vary, but in other offenses a rookie quarterback might be less vulnerable. But the Rams have no receivers, no tight end, and no offensive line.

I think his preparation would vary greatly depending on who his coach is

His preparation? Assuredly. His preparedness? Yeah, I don't think so.

I don't think LA is in any hurry to get him out there, though. They know that he's the lynch pin of their franchise for the next decade and the worst possible thing is to have a David Carr situation where you ruin a young quarterback by putting him in a shitty offense.

Also, with all the Eagles' fans gloating, I'd like to point out that I was the only one here who say that Doug Pederson was a good HC pick while you guys were lamenting it.

I'm sure we can join together in our collective hate for the Rangers though, no?

I hated the Pedersen hire and I was very clear about that. I am happy to eat my crow in exchange for a good football team however it's been two weeks. Talk to me after the season but if they end up being a good football team or at the very least a mediocre football team with a future vision coming into play, I'll sit at the table like a big boy and eat it all.

As of 9/20/2016, the Eagles are one year ahead of schedule. This year was supposed to be to pimp out Bradford and hopefully market him for a trade next year and let Wentz learn from the sidelines.

We already got a haul for Bradford and Wentz is proving that the stage isn't too big for him in his very limited time as an NFL QB so the plan is already moving faster than anticipated and I can't be mad at that.

yeah there are idiots everywhere but the worst I have ever seen in Seattle is people getting booed as they walk though tailgate alley before the games.

Definitely could see the Lions picking him up, our LB's got decimated with injuries

Lamar Houston probably done for the year. Danny Trevethan needs hand surgery. Cutler rumored to be done for the year too.

"Lose some for Watson" is the best I could come up with.

I'm sorry KJ, I really need the Steelers to destroy Philly next week. I mean like, 70-0. I don't get petty often but got damn if someone saying something stupid and acting arrogant about it doesn't set me off...

  22. I have no idea what to think about the Eagles. They look good, even if it's against bad teams. They can def pull the upset.

I guess my thing with the Eagles is this: Yes, they've been bad teams but they've beaten both teams handily (as they should if they want to be considered a good team).

I do think this Eagles defense is for real as I said all off season. The attacking 4-3 style defense is perfect for this personnel. They get perhaps the biggest test of the year with Pittsburgh this week so we will see how good they are (or bad).

Wentz is doing things a lot of veteran QBs don't/can't do. The offense looks pretty good but they need to start cutting down on the OL penalties and the dropped balls.

The sad thing about the defense is that I do think Jim Schwartz is a one year and gone guy, I think he gets a HC job next year again if the Eagles D finishes the year as good as I think they will.

I think they lose Sunday but I do think it'll be close. 2-1 into the bye with games @ DET & @ WAS coming out of it? I'll take that.

I don't honestly think it's going to be close. I like Wentz and I'm rooting for him this year. But Cincy is the only team that consistently slows down the Steelers and they just put up 24 and won without Bell or Martavis.

everyone doubted the Steelers but they're a really good core team with great depth. Even without a few of their studs they're still a playoff-good team. Look at how well DeAngelo has stepped up in Bell's place and how Sammie Coates still provides Ben with a solid deep threat. They're great at that "next man up" sort of mentality, the only injury they can't handle is a Roethlisberger injury.

News on once the clouds are gone. Prestigious

Bell coming back at the same or close time as Charles is coming back will be interesting in that game. Dont think Charles will be 100% but you still have to game plan if he breaks one or two off, which will almost definitely happen against the Steelers
