To wax on Adams' awfulness:

 

whats amazing about Adams to me is, the numbers said he'd be a stud, especially as a late 2nd rounder. I think Jordy getting hurt last year put a lot of pressure on him suddenly. Everything you've practiced for all summer goes out the window and you start from scratch 2-3 weeks out.

But 3rd year is usually where WRs either break out or die their death

 

Yep, those reports he was on a snap count had alot of people holding off.

 

Defibitely would have grabbed him had I been at my draft. I grabbed him his rookie year cause I like that dude.

 

I mean I never thought Adams would be any kind of no.1 or anything but he could've been a nice security blanket for Rodgers.

I never even saw it coming out or during his rookie year, but just submitted to the fact that I'm not an expert. In college, he didn't show the ability to separate, nor play especially physically, and his route tree was limited. In retrospect, my initial predictions about the 2014 draft were pretty spot on (def will not be the case for the following 2 years, as Randall and Martinez look to be very good players).

 

Yeah, the general floor was supposed to be a Richard Rodgers in WR form i.e. no ability to separate or make big plays, but bear trap hands and the ability to make contested catches. So far, he's well below that floor, as his drop rate is crazy bad.

On a bright note, Richard Rodgers does look a little more sprightly this year. I mean, he's never going to be fast, or even pedestrian, but he's certainly shown that he's a hard worker with dependable hands and a good attitude.
