Compared to older generations, I feel like a computer wizard. But, compared to guys like most of you (I presume), I'm pretty embarrassingly untalented. With Twitter especially: I tried for a few weeks to use Twitter, mostly to follow NFL Draft coverage, but that shit confuses the hell out of me: it's confusing and overly simplistic at the same time it seems.

Around the Horn has introduced me to a few good sports journalists-- I watched the show religiously as a kid. ***an and Torre are phenomenal, but I also enjoy Tim Cowlishaw, Bill Simmons, Matt Bowen (up and coming-- very insightful and technical), and sometimes JA Adande.

 

Hadnt even considered that, its a great point. He took the most crap of anyone for that stuff. And I think it rings especially true because he isnt an entrenched starter...he could be out of a job if this blows up badly for him, yet he'll say it anyway.

I really wish they would change the format of he and Lebatard's show. I love Bomani and used to find Lebatard funny, but the format of their show is so fucking annoying and really unsatisfying. And kinda ethnically patronizing-- I really hope the father is actually like that and not playing a role...

 

The only reason I said I found it hilarious is because half the time this thread is pretty much just a thread of embedding tweets so it's almost parodying that that it'd be the place you'd want to ask

But yeah, I'm like you, pretty much middle of the road with technology

And to think I was just asked tonight how it could be that I don't say that I'm proud to be an American.

 

Hey man, I had to separate myself from people I've been friends with for years because of this situation. Its so weird when people pretend to be super patriotic out of nowhere just because of this when they never act that way.

I guess kaps action worked, it got people talking and you realize who is truly an ignorant, racist pos and who isn't.

Siemian looked very average at best this preseason. Luckily he has nice weapons around him and a top 5 defense.

I mean, yeah but I don't agree with the comparison. Obviously Peyton wasn't himself last season but he still had the experience and knowledge of the game. It may not of translated in his play but his teammates likely benefited from it. Siemian has zero starts and has only looked decent against defenses who haven't even game planned for him.

I just don't think you can plug in any QB and say they will be fine because of what happened with Peyton last season.

 

oh I know. But, Sieman also has 0 game tape out there, so, teams are gonna have to prepare for him with little knowledge. Unlike preparing for Peyton who had 15+ years of tape.
