Guys Jonathan williams is really good also, just saying. I mean if he can stay healthy that is.

A lot of preseason tactics are meaningless though, sometimes coaches will just do that to see if the back is capable of the spotlight against first team talent. I honestly couldn't see as much fantasy value being vultured from Shady this year. Karlos looked like he could have been a starting RB if not for Shady - now he should be primed to get more red zone looks

    The rivalry is back on

Wow that's crazy with Karlos. He looked so good last year. Wonder if he latches on elsewhere soon (*cough cough IND*)

You can have him. One more failed drug test or concussion and he's done

I'm telling you Gillislee is the #2 and will get reps for sure. He might not vulture like Karlos Williams did IF Shady stays healthy. A lot of the production Williams had was because they had to limit Mccoy's reps due to his injuries.

Just watched some of the rerun for Dolphins/Cowboys.

Color me very impressed by Dak. Even though it's preseason he looks pretty next-level for a rookie, that's the kind of preseason performance that translates (kinda like how Russell Wilson dominated his first preseason when Matt Flynn was supposed to be the starter.)

As much as I've been a defender of Romo and felt he gets too much flack by an unforgiving fanbase/people who hate the Cowboys, I think they should move on sooner rather than later now that they have a talent like this behind him. Many might think they owe it to Tony Romo to let him finish up his career after good stats and winning seasons most of his career, but think about it, pretty sure Drew Bledsoe was the unquestioned starter when Romo got there... when one talent gets stale and another looks to bring new things to the table, it can be in a team's best interest to take that and run.

It's risky, but also, when you see teams rebuild properly and keep winning the whole time? It's usually because they addressed a QB change before it became a problem.

I appreciate the insight from a fan who follows the team closely.

It's just interesting how RB philosophy varies from team to team. Matt and I were talking about the Jags earlier - based on what I've seen in practice and press conferences, it's a lot more likely that Ivory was indeed WELL overpaid to be a glorified change of pace back, than that he will overshadow Yeldon. A raw eye test will show you that Ivory is definitely the more physically impressive back, faster despite being built thicker and much more powerful. But in spite of that Bradley wants to be able to adapt to situations and he seems to really appreciate and respond to Yeldon's cerebral approach to the game. He's patient, he understands both zone and gap running and adjusts his style accordingly (important because we are doing both), he makes judicious decisions in space and carefully considers each defender's angle on him, he blocks the right guy, he runs the right option routes... and that plus better hands and blocking technique means Yeldon to me is totally more likely to get 1,000 yards this year. Even though Ivory has more prestige and just got 7 mill AAV.

Bills and Marcell Dareus now reporting that he is entering a rehab facility. Banner afternoon. That being said, I think this may be tied to the failed drug test, but not necessarily a "drug rehab" facility. The man has had an unbelievable amount of tragic loss in his life. Weed may have been part of his ability to cope with all of it. I'm hoping this is mental health related and a big step in the right direction of the NFL when it comes to mental health.

Fuck Rusty Trumbone or whatever that shithead GMs name is in Tennessee.

Not taking the Eagles trash heap for #2 in 2015...psh.

At least we got DGB for free which might be a good thing. Probably not though, I'm sure.

  25. Nuke, Strong, Fuller is a nice trio for Brock. And Lamar Miller to improve to run game.

Could be a fun offense in Houston.
