I second Oakland. Houston can't be the Wild Card, they'll win the AFC South though.

 

We'd likely play the Wild Card game though while winning division, I don't see a scenario where we get a bye. (Maybe I should be more optimistic)

 

I thought he said "what wild card team will they be losing to," my bad haha. But also, I think if Cincy makes it, they are a sixth seed.

 

Makes sense and that wouldn't surprise me, I'd probably predict six seed as well

Just what kind of QB he is really. The fact that he is very reliant on his intermediate - deep passing game is why his overall completion percentage is low compared to other top QBs

It's crazy that Roethlisberger not only has the highest deep completion percentage but did it while attempting the most deep passes aside from Cam as well.

The Steelers were a blast to watch last year and I still wouldn't have guessed those numbers would be that good. 65% completions on 90 throws that travelled 20 or more yards is just fucking silly. That means on average, each game he attempts 6 deep passes and hits 4 of them. That's like better than Steph Curry's odds of hitting a 3 pointer haha.

Big Ben would be the best QB in the NFL at this point in his career if Brady retired at 40 like a normal person

 

That's the opposite of what I said haha. His accuracy last season was 53.1 but his accuracy on just long passes was 58.7 which means he is more accurate from deep and it's his short game that hinders his accuracy.

 

Well no his whole accuracy suffers though because he looks deep too often is the point I'm making. At the NFL starter level, where most QBs should be able to be spot on with uncontested or "open" short/intermediate throws, low completion percentage tends to indicate the QB isn't throwing a lot of high percentage passes more so than it indicates his arm is inaccurate.

I keep trying to get into other sports... I do enjoy baseball, soccer, and tennis, but I don't get as into them because none of them have as much diversity as football. In terms of specific skillsets and different kinds strategy there really isn't a sport to me that's as stimulating and satisfying to learn about. Theres just so many factors that influence the game.
