Hard to believe Falk is supposed to be a top QB. In the two games I've watched he's looked like garbage.

and just like that in, in a matter of 9 hours, my bowl mania season is over. I was crushing it in the crappy mid-card bowls, but Boise, Wazu and Temple were all high picks for me.

 

I'm just ready for it to get here and be over with so we can move on to the final recruiting push for next year.

I think UW hangs with Bama for a bit but then the talent and depth just starts to take over. I'm just happy they're here after a 7-6 season one year ago.

The only thing that would kill this year for me is if they lose 50-0 or something but I'm just not sure I see that in the cards. I would gladly take a game where UW throws some punches and fights for a bit before eventually getting clobbered.

As a huge Uconn basketball fan, football just needs to go back to FCS. They had the most hilarious story of last year too when Diaco made up that rivalry. Lol then they went 51 offensive possessions without a TD this year. Fifty. One.

 

Edsall is one of my least favorite people in sports after what he did to the UMD program, lol

 

I'm working on a thing for fun that reimagines college football as an actual well organized system. UConn was one of the first major teams I relegated. Kansas was the first. Which is weird because they were so good for that one year ten seasons ago.

 

if they did that, they would go back to the big east in basketball too... so i'm definitely for this (although it would never happen in a billion years)

plus, uconn football isn't awful....their offense is...but there are worst programs out there

 

It's just they I think reached their ceiling with the Fiesta bowl in Edsall's last year. I'm not super knowledgeable about college football in general but it just seems the power structure with the power 5 has a hard cap on what Uconn can achieve. Like there is ZERO chance of a Calhoun or Auriemma thing happening, and if there was even a 1% chance it went to hell when Edsall left.

I'd rather see them do well at a lower level. I mean they had 5,000 people at the last game. That's atrocious lol.
