No, just reiterating what I already knew I suppose.

Question, does Wade really think that Chicago is a better option than Miami or did he just feel extremely disrespected by Riley?

It's gotta be the latter, right?

Only reason I can see really. The Bulls are gonna be a dumpster fire.

haha the Mavs handcuffing Barnes to their owner (or maybe GM) is a great play on the fiasco last year.

  8. They're going to be a 3-5 seed easily in that conference with the lineup they have

If all three guys drive to the rim at the same time it has to catch someone off guard

How are you seeing the Knicks make the playoffs? Who fell off enough to let the Knicks make up for it? Miami and Atlanta, maybe?

I don't think Rose and Noah really add much at all. Certainly not 10-15 wins.

I feel like Orlando secretly got a little better this year.

  12. Basically just traded out the Hawks for the Knicks - Orlando will be bad and Washington is a wild card

I really can't see the Bulls getting higher than the 7th seed. Outside of the Hawks losing Horford and the Celtics gaining him no one has really changed all that drastically. I think Detroit can make a push to the 5-6 slots, Bucks could definitely jump back in it as well.

crazy that Wade has been a part of Miami for about half of their entire existence. definitely the biggest icon in Miami sports history.

I'd say Don Shula is the biggest. Marino is probably even bigger. Wade's top 5 for sure though.

So idk if you guys know this but the cap is going down to 102 after being estimated at 107 so every FA that was signed is getting 5m more than they were supposed to lol

  22. Hmmm if it's only going up to 102 the Warriors might be in a tough spot next summer.

I could see Iggy taking less to stay, but who knows if it's a dramatic decrease. I think he has a lot of off the court investments and probably knows being a starter and getting 20 a game is kind of meaningless at this stage

This is definitely an interesting turn of events, but I already sort of broke down the Warriors cap situation on the previous page. Assuming this $102 figure holds, all it will do is make it tougher for them to re-sign Livingston and Iggy.

Salaries for 17/18 should look something like this:
    Klay: $17.8M
    Green: $16.4M
    Looney: $1.2M (team option)
Jones: $1M (second year of rookie slotted contract)
Durant: $33.5M - max number per Windhorst if he opts out after this year
Curry: $30M - probably a little high for his max number, but let's budget for it. I think it will actually be more around $28M

This would put the Warriors right around $100M, leaving them with some minor cap room and minimum contracts to fill out their roster. This excludes West and Zaza, but I doubt they have anything beyond a team option beyond this coming season. Yeah, this cap projection makes things tighter, but they will be fine.
