I'm not sure whether I like or dislike the Avery Bradley trade for Boston

 

Letting go of Bradley seems like a bad idea. I would've shipped out Crowder.

 

I feel like Crowder may be easier to keep longterm than Bradley. Then again, I'm far from even an armchair NBA GM.

 

Hopefully he sticks to that sentiment!

 

Still trying to wrap my head around what Ainge is doing. Only thing that makes sense is Morris is cheap for a good player and AB will be expensive next season. But damn...that was a huge piece to the C's core.

 

Celtics gonna be worse, I guarantee it

Smart is still pretty young and inexperienced at being a playmaker. That wasn't asked of him before last year. He showed flashes of being able to facilitate nicely with some damn good passes. I'd like to see if he can develop that. But even if he doesn't, that kind of defensive intensity and nose for the ball is valuable on a winning team.

I also love Rozier. Watching that guy rip down rebounds makes me smile every time. Haha. If he could start consistently finishing at the rim this season, that would be huge.

 

I feel like Smart is really important now that Bradley is gone. I just didn't like what I saw in the playoffs. There's a line between playing with an edge and playing reckless and he needs to find it.

 

...not even a sign and trade? That's...odd

 

Sad to see my favorite Celtic go, but it makes sense given that he would have been really hard to sign next year. Hope he becomes a huge fan favorite in Detroit.

 

The Knicks and nets can't offer kcp until like tomorrow night lolol well... nets, Hawks aren't matching hardaway ha

 

I just wanna say, a sign and trade would've made a ton of sense. Detroit would've taken Lin in a second, assuming the nets would do that.

 

I really don't understand not doing a sign and trade. Ugh.

If I was him I wouldn't, why do that when you can get an almost max from the Nets? Then again it's the lakers, yuck

 

I also don't get it, they could've traded him for a good chunk at the deadline.

I still think this Pritchard guy is an idiot. That Blazers offer is better than what he got.

 

Pretty clear Pritchard wouldn't trade with the Blazers out of spite.

 

Eh, don't like that trade too much either, nothing really seems like enough so I'd never be satisfied, just a shit situation and handling of it
