Hawks are pretty good at taking in these project wing players and getting them PAID, geez. That contract is crazy.

They're not getting any good gm, you can set that in stone. Dolan is taking control of the team again and KP is leaving in two years. Lock it in.

You don't make moves like this and then bring a gm afterward, they re-hired their owner as gm. They'll be another gathering outside the garden in a year or two, wonder what idiot they'll hire to take pressure off Dolan then.

I am at the point where I want Dolan to hire Isaiah back again to be the GM

It'll happen next offseason when the Knicks are "shocked" no elite gm wants to be Dolans puppet, then they'll have "no choice" and make it seem like he worked super hard for the promotion and it wasn't expected. I guarantee it.

I also guarantee Dolan dgaf what women think about it.

  12. Are the New York Knicks the Cleveland Browns of the NBA or is that an insult to the Cleveland Browns?

  13. I hope they sign Rondo next

Technically the browns have a competent front office right now and are doing "the right thing". The browns are probably more of a winning franchise though.

I don't think they have enough money to, actually. I think they have like 18m in cap room before the THJ signing so either rondo takes a realllly cheap deal/vet minimum or yea, not happening.

Unless they do a sign and trade, maybe they can give Noah back to the bulls for two 1st rounders lol

I'm really hoping it's Crowder. I like him, but Hayward makes him a bit redundant. I'd hate to lose Bradley and Smart's defense if I had the choice.

Hey now. Browns might suck, but at least they sucked enough to get a top pick and had a good run in draft, free agents, etc. while staying at $53 million under the cap.

I'd say Redskins. Not 100% successful. Bad, but not bad enough to be in the top pick conversation. Being too undecided on trading their top talent, who will probably just get traded for nothing or leave through free agency. Not making full sense on the talent they acquire/draft, which makes their cap allocation look weird since you know they won't compete with this roster.

I'm very torn. Bradley being a virtual certainty not to be extended in a year makes him the easiest to stomach losing I think. Crowder's contract and Smart's relative upside make them more valuable than anything we'll get in return for any of them I think, so I'd prefer to maximize the long term value with whoever we keep.

I really don't want to see Marcus be the odd man out. His intensity is so fun to watch and he's so young I can still see him improving. Though I guess he is potentially a goner in a year as well.

This playoff stretch really took me out of the Smart fanclub. The dumb decisions he made, checking himself out of games, needing IT and Al to calm him the F down a few times, it was just too much. I'm also all the way in on Terry Rozier. I love that dude.
