Love all the people freaking out at Dame saying Blazers in six. Should he have said "I mean we'll probably get swept, maybe we'll steal one game"

If he's gonna be unrealistically he should say Blazers in 4

Yea, no player is ever going to say "we gonna get swept". But every year sports media tries to blow these soundbites out of proportion.

Exactly. They literally asked him 6 or 7 games trying to set him up

If a player ever says we're gonna kept swept they're probably gonna get traded

I legit think dame actually believes it too, would rather have a leader with a mindset like that over someone who just says it to have people talk.

  10. At least the Bucks will have the best player on the floor in every series they could be in save against Cleveland

That's cool but the roster will probably never get too good and he'll go to Miami to play with lonzo ball or something

No shit, Phil. That was the case before you re-signed him. Better late than never I guess.

I mean, Phil isn't wrong about that.

I'd rather get rid of Phil than get rid of Melo

and I don't even like Melo all that much anymore

  19. I hope they keep them both, I like the Knicks constantly in disarray. Heh.

Rose wants to stay too, according to Phil Jackson. So he can "redeem" himself.....again and again.

Poor guy haha. Talk about bad luck.

Phil is awful. His best attribute is as a coach being able to manage big personalities and keep things balanced in that regard. His system made a ton of sense with star players in a slower paced era that required skill in executing your offense. Today's game is just different. It's more about spacing and utilizing athleticism via mismatches and creating threes. The triangle or the Princeton is not going to overcome a lack in talent or athleticism. And that's where the Knicks are outside of Porzingis. It's great Jeff wants to save his job and run more triangle next year, but I think we know how that movie will end.

My Knicks predictions for next season: James Dolan fires Phil Jackson and the coaching staff, then names himself president of basketball operations and head coach. Then Charles Oakley stages a coup, chokes out Dolan, and takes over the Knicks. Oh and Derrick Rose gets injured.

The latter part is great except the assumption that rose spins staying, he's totally not lol

You're right. He's probably not, but it wouldn't completely surprise me if the Knicks did something like that.

Who are we kidding, he's got #KANGS written all over him.
