They will, keeping a rfa doesn't count against the cap the same way as if you're adding them. They have plenty of room regardless, they'd probably prefer to wait to match the deal though... Want to make other moves before just like Washington is doing with beal. I doubt they'll add a major player and then match to go over to luxury tax territory though.

You hate to have to max Parsons, but I really like the idea of him, CJ, and Lillard in the back court. They should avoid Howard. You can't pay 20+ for a guy who doesn't know who he is as a player and can't play in the final few minutes of a close game.

Yeah, I mean, considering how much Mozgov got, I'm not mad about the money part, it just seems like they went out of their way to sign someone who doesn't really serve a purpose. He doesn't fit the style of play they're aiming for at all. Hopefully it works out.

Al can work almost any defender in the paint. And he's got a nice touch on his close-range shots. Just liability on defense.

 

I like the Al Jefferson signing.

 

I love big al, such a great dude and teammate. It's too bad he's been hamstrung with injuries.
