This is at least promising. Hopefully Philly will get moving on the buyout. I know Terrance Jones is not the ideal fit, but I'm surprised more news hasn't been released about his interest. I suspect he will go somewhere for playing time as opposed to a ring situation.

Celtics need to do everything in their power to get Hayward as a free agent over the summer. They wouldn't have to lose nearly as much for him as they would if they went after a Butler trade. Should be an exciting summer!

 

Reggie Jackson and Drummond both need to go.

Can't even play Drummond at the end of the 4th because he can't hit a free throw to save his life.

Yes, they only have to be designated to waivers by the 1st. They don't actually have to clear waivers.

Pelicans will struggle for the rest of the season and people will make fun of them, but I expect them to be heavy players in FA. If they can somehow add Hayward or another top wing player they'll be really good.

 

Yeah I would imagine it'll take some time for Boogie and AD to get used to playing with one another
