I'm not sure if the GOAT is anymore. Thon or Skal

  3. I'd like the Warriors more without Durant and Draymond.

  4. The last remaining member of that 2011 team

Yeah, their roster has certainly become an island of misfit toys situation. I can only assume they are going to attempt a rebuild in FA around Butler, Lopez, and Wade, which would take some convincing. But there are some real questions about how that process would work. I think we have to wait and see what the real plans are with the team and that's a hard thing to accept for most fans. The Bulls can really go a lot of ways because they haven't strongly said Butler is their guy either. It's an odd situation out there where it seems like the team, FO, and ownership are moving in different directions. It kind of reminds me of the scene in D2 where team USA is roped together and are told to move as one unit and they collapse immediately. They need to first make an internal decision on Butler. If they are keeping him, shout it from the mountains and really try to make that work. I think it's important to Butler that the Bulls view him as a piece to build around.

  6. Always Thon

  7. Warriors are much more fun when Steph decides he's better than KD. That's gonna be a sub plot in the playoffs. Hope it bites them.

This is the thing nobody who doesn't regularly watch the C's (which includes most of the Boston sports media) understands. They're not one star away from beating Lebron and then the Warriors this year. There's a lot of growing, inconsistent talent on the team. Great for the regular season. Not as likely to run away with the playoffs. So why mortgage the forseeable future to make a run this year with a rental player? To (likely) fail to get a ring this year we piss away the chances to do so for the next few?

This Warriors team is so annoying.

Can anyone recommend a good app to replace ESPN on iOS? I've used it for years but they keep redesigning it in annoying and cluttery ways, and I loathe using apps with ads when I'd rather just pay for it.

  13. Boogie was one block short of a 5x5 in his Pelicans debut. Too bad they turned the ball over 20 times.

I'll give the pels like 10 games to officially be out of the playoffs and the kings to start pondering if they'll get the 4th pick to screw up on

I still feel like Deron Williams to the Cavs is too good to be true. Something messed up with probably happen in the next 30 hours to screw it up. Jason Lloyd of Akron Beacon Journal thinks Utah could still claim him and easily absorb what's left of his salary and said Cleveland is 'not a sure thing at this point'

I've felt this way since the moment they signed KD. I really think once they get into the playoffs and start playing closer, more slow-paced games, they'll struggle to find ways to close out some games. We've seen it already in a few close games so far this season, especially when they blew a 14-point 4th Q lead on Xmas in Cleveland. It's like, they didn't know who to go to or who should take over the game. Also, Durant has a history of choking in big games in final moments - and we saw what Steph did last year in the Finals. So it'll definitely be an interesting sub plot in the playoffs.

Have fun with heyward, not being able to retain your guys and still going nowhere.

  19. If the Cavs get DWill and Bogut along with JR and Love returning from injuries.....damn. Their bench would be ridiculous.

I will seriously wet myself if we can get both D-Will and Bogut. Williams alone is a serious game changer. Bogut would be icing on the cake.

I use the yahoo sports app. It's not great, but I hate the espn app and it's better than other apps I've tried. Not a huge endorsement I guess haha.

if payne is actually good it'll pay off I guess but if not it'll be pretty bad. I liked payne before the injury and he can probably start once he's healthy. You just think you can get more out of those two guys than a maybe and random

Agreed. I did some googling and settled on the Yahoo Sports app. So far I like the layout a lot better on both iPad and iPhone.
