I think the idea of Rondo on the Cavs second unit/to start the second quarter is interesting. It'd be him, Korver, LeBron, Love, and Frye. That unit would have some shooting, some length, and some play making ability. Rondo is aging and if he's not truly making plays, he is dead space on the offensive end. I do think if the Cavs add a traditional PG, it will be him or Chalmers. It's not an obvious buyout signing to me the way someone like PJ Tucker (pre-Korver trade) or Andrew Bogut would. I really really want Bogut to get bought out and sign with Cleveland. That would lengthen that front court a bit and balance out the scoring and defense. I would also like to monitor Portland and their situation. I think they have to make some roster decisions due to their spending spree last summer. Their cap situation is not good to put it lightly.

Bogut coming to the Cavs would be cool to see. He'd put the hammer down on the Warriors if they saw each other in the finals, which is the Warrior's biggest weakness. Has there been talk about Bogut?

I really don't know what the Mavs' situation is exactly. Like, I know they are bad, but not in tune with the team to really know. Some of the Cavs beat writers and Windy have mentioned Bogut in passing and there were those fairly candid comments Bogut had in Nov/Dec. I think it's sort of a pipe dream, but I can hope.

In a perfect world, both Deron Williams and Bogut would be bought out and sign with the Cavs :)

Wishful thinking but I do think at least one of those two will be bought out. I believe if Bogut does, it's a no-brainer he'd sign with Cavs to 'get back' at the Warriors.

I'd also like the Cavs to go after Jameer Nelson for back-up PG. I've never really cared for Rondo...I thought he was a bit overrated playing for the Celtics seeing as he was playing with three hall of famers. It's not even his attitude that worries me (normally it would, but LBJ has proven he can calm these guys down) it's his AWFUL shooting that would be a major weakness in our line-up. If you're playing with LeBron and Kyrie, you have to be able to knock down open shots. Period.

Jameer Nelson. Now that's a name I forgot about. Solid player. We would great for the Cavs.

Rondo's shooting aside, I would take him over Nelson. Nelson has had a solid season though.

Nelson has WAY less of an ego and attitude problem than Rondo. A way better shooter and all around better fit for what the Cavs need. Much better leader too.

Also, crazy stat...Rondo is a 60% career FT shooter. Crazy for a PG.

If I was the Cavs I wouldn't be taking Rondo (or another player) in search of more shooting. I would be taking him to get play making ability, defense, and length. For all of Rondo's negatives, I do like the idea of him playing against Livingston or other longer guards.

I don't think they will be setting out to find a back-up PG specifically for their shooting, I'm just saying to me, it's a nice added bonus if they can shoot in addition to being a playmaker. I also think Nelson is a more realistic target because A) contract situation and B) I doubt Bulls would trade in their own division.

Yeah, Denver is more likely to buyout someone, I agree with that.

How the hell did Jordan make it over Gobert for the All-Star Game?

For real, I thought he was a lock to make it. How many votes did Doc Rivers get? All of them?

Portland fans have been salivating for him for like three years lol he's a perfect fit TBH just wonder about commitment. I'm assuming he takes a cheap deal considering all his past issues and being out of the game, I'd take that risk.

Chicago Bulls have the worst management. After the past two days debacle, Gar Forman, their GM, addressed the media and refused to take questions today in regards to the Wade/Butler/Rondo statements. What a joke. The dude messed up so bad and can't even take the hit.

Super hard being a Bulls fan these past couple seasons. Probably the worst season in the franchise since I've been around and this is coming from someone who grew up going to the Jordan era games to watching them struggle before the Rose era. If your team is frustrating to watch, just remember your team is not the Bulls.
