I mean 3 weeks seems like a long time, I feel like they're trying to tank with three guys who can't shoot and failing so they just keep saying "concussion protocol setback"

I haven't been following McDermott, but everyone reacts to concussions differently depending on how bad it was. The Sydney Crosby saga became an example of what can happen when you don't exercise caution. And the fact that we are still trying to learn and understand the injury makes it more difficult to assess. Just the smallest sign is all it takes for trainers to put a halt on returning.

  11. Nice win by the Bucks last night - no let down after such an emotional win against Cleveland

Yes, they will be. But they really need to start thinking of bolstering the bench because right now, it's not doing well at all. The effort and sloppiness has also been concerning for the past three games as well. The third quarter play these past two games have been about as bad as I've seen from them in years. Milwaukee, down 4 at half, and LAC, down 8 at half, and both teams blew them out of the gym by the time the 4th quarter started. Can't let that happen.

The effort will be there for games that matter. Of course, laziness like this is not a precedent you want to set, but Lebron has proved himself as a leader. If he wants it, he'll get the team to put in 100%. They'll get it together. They do need to improve the bench though. In my super biased Colorado fan opinion, they should pick up Spencer Dinwiddie from the D-League as a back up guard.

A home game on national TV vs a top team in the West, there needs to be effort. I have no clue who Spencer Dinwiddie is, but a d-leaguer, or any young guy for that matter, is not going to help our bench. We need an experienced player who can help us make a championship run. They already have Felder, McCrae and Liggins on the bench, who all look lost due to their inexperience and youth. This is not the type of team who is going to mold a young player into a role player. They need someone who is experienced who can handle the pressure and the expectations.

Dinwiddie isn't a rookie, was in Detroit for two years. Cut by the Bulls just before the season started, which most who follow the team considered a surprising move. He's a solid guard who can shoot and run an offense. From what I've seen, the Cavs bench unit really lacks that kind of presence.

I still think they'll pick it up when it matters. Last night's loss is disappointing for them, but at the end of the day, they know they're going to win the East. The regular season really is just a formality for them at this point.

Guys, just humor me. I have dreams of a Colorado guy being on a championship team again. We've had Chauncey and Scott Wedman. I need more.

Two bad losses and finding a way to win against a bad team. Cavs fans need to calm down. It will be ok. And the type of trade people want to make is not there and may not be there this season. We need to wait until teams can trade newly signed players and have season deadlines that force front office decisions on whether they are contenders. Maybe it works in the Cavs benefit. The more likely scenario is that this is mostly the group we have to win with and need to make some adjustments. A lot can change with preparation, effort, and acccountability.

  19. I mean, he's ok.

  20. One of my favorite parts of Giannis' game right now is that teams are so terrified of how well he finishes that all five players pack the paint when he drives and 2-3 Bucks are open for wide open threes. Just wait till Middleton comes back - holy shit.

  21. I'm biased but is he borderline top 10 player in the NBA right now?

I'd say he's there. Definitely top 15 at least.

  23. It also helps that the Bucks (so far) have come out looking good on the two offseason trades - Beasley for Ennis and Snell for MCW both look like steals

  24. Especially if we play the "what player do you want to base your franchise around" type game

Lebron the Brow Westbrook Kawai Curry Durant and maybe KAT would all come before him most likely

  25. He's definitely the second best player in the East currently right now tho
