Alright, today's the day and I'm still undecided on who to pick at 4th. It's assumed that Brown, Julio, and ODB are going top three. AJ Green, Gurley, Peterson, Hopkins, or other?

When it comes to "hype" players you just have to go with your gut and roll the dice sometimes. Because if you never take the risk you miss out on good players but if you only listen to the buzz players you're gonna get burnt. Personally if I had the 4th I would try to trade back a few picks and get a better third or fourth rounder. But I'm not a huge David Johnson believer yet

That said, he will still be pretty involved in the passing game I think as far as ppr goes

 

I know even mentioning a TD-only league is punishable by death around here but if anyone knows where I can get some rankings for that format I'd appreciate

I've been going back and forth on Edelman/Jackson. I'm a little worried about Garoppolo in his first week.

 

I wouldn't be too worried about Edelman since he operates in the slot. Shouldn't be too difficult for Garoppolo to hit him. Then again, I'm only speaking in theory, I haven't kept up with any Garoppolo stats during the preseason.

 

Am I crazy for playing Maclin and G Tate over Demaryius? Non ppr

 

.5 ppr. Moncrief against Detroit or Marvin Jones against Colts?

Alright, so yesterday at the last minute my "friends" moved our draft time up by 2 hours. So I got auto-drafted.

Not a bad haul overall especially at WR, but it's a 2 QB system and I got fucked. Eli Manning and Carson fucking Wentz. No 3rd QB.

So I need a 3rd QB for my bench at least. Waiver options are thin: Sam Bradford (not starting this week anyway but probably the best option unfortunately), Case Keenum, and Shaun Hill (won't be starting long anyway). That's it as far as players who start.

I need to dump someone for Bradford, but I don't know who. Auto-draft got me Eddie Lacy, and then also James Starks, so I think I need to keep him as a handcuff for Lacy. That leaves on my bench: Desean Jackson (inconsistent, high upside), Tyler Eiffert (injured, but a top-6 TE last year), Coby Fleener (high upside this year with Brees, and a darling of several Fantasy writers I follow), Emmanuel Sanders (not really an option despite DEN's QB situation--the only reason he's on my bench is because I'm starting Antonio Brown and Brandon Marshall with Spencer Ware as my Flex), or Keenan Allen.

So...Starks, Jackson, Eiffert, Fleener, Sanders, or Allen for Bradford? Or just gamble with Wentz until I can make a trade or one of my starters gets hurt?

Waivers open up in less than 4 hours. Any help?

 

I would personally drop Eifert for Bradford

Eifert is a decent player but he is injured and who knows for how long. He isn't going to sustain the TD rate he had last year. I like Fleener a lot more than him for this year.

I like my starting lineup, and almost all my byes are Week 9, so I should be strong midseason. But definitely need to find some WR depth in this 3WR league

 

honestly, this year, drafting at like 6-8 of 10 SUCKS. At least at 10 you get the wraparound. You can walk with 2 RB1s or 2WR1's at the start

 

the last three years i have either drafted at 1st or 10th, but yeah i hope one of the RBs falls out of the top 9 maybe
