They have four UFA defensemen haha. Praying they lock up Kris Russell because our dumb front office is going to give him a dumptruck full of money for some inexplicable reason

It's almost impossible, but I have this really scary feeling Nashville is going to blow it and miss the playoffs. Their remaining schedule is TOUGH.

I can't see Colorado knocking Nashville or Minnesota out of the wild card. It's a lock man. I guarantee it. haha

Enjoy your playoff appearances while I watch my Jackets sign Prout to dumb contracts. At least they got Werenski locked up. I get excited for the team's future when I look at their pipeline, but then I see their cap situation and I go back to cringing.

I am a Lightning fan in that I was born and raised in Tampa and loved going to their games as a kid. Haven't watched nearly enough hockey to tell you anything else besides that.

you might not have anything left to sign seth jones when the time comes. I hurt seeing that 7.5million contract on your goalie. He had a great year one time but I don't think he's worth that much anymore. :(

The Jets have enough prospects. What we need is that one superstar player that we can build around.

His injuries are definitely a concern and don't seem to be going away. For that reason, I hope Korpisolo keeps progressing and can take some pressure off Bob.

I have read the cap is supposed to increase by about $3M for next season. Assuming it stays flat at $71M, the Jackets can sign Jones to a bridge deal in the ballpark of 3 years and $4M cap hit. They have everyone else signed but William Karlsson, who is a young bottom six center at the moment. They should be able to re-sign him for under $1M per, but budgeting high for that, CBJ will be cutting it close with Jones and kind of have to do a bridge deal if they don't move anyone out.

I think the biggest eyesore is Clarkson. I get why they made the trade, but I am upset with ownership for mandating it. That is dead space for our cap situation. Tyutin and Hartnell probably should be moved, but who knows at this point.

That Clarkson deal is gross. He's so old and not producing. I don't know anyone that would take him in a trade unless they retain his salary or something. IMO they need to try and move Clarkson, Tyutin, Hartnell and don't resign Bourque. I get it, a team needs some leadership but these guys are dinosaurs with 5M cap hits lol.

Hawks are hurting without Crawford. Dude isn't even skating yet. It's gonna be a rough run to the playoffs.

looks like you'll match up with anaheim or san jose. Tough first round.

Hawks will actually match up with the Stars/Blues, unless something crazy happens. Either way, the West is TOUGH.

St Louis and Minnesota are the two teams I would not want to face right now.
