Bruins had four opportunities to score in that shootout.

None of them were their leading goal scorer who is tied for fifth in the NHL.

    Have fun golfing, guys

  9. We're gonna lose McD and Girardi in back to back nights. haha.

The latter sounds like addition by subtraction

  11. It definitely is. But it's just ironic it happened now and not 20+ games ago.

I was just about to comment

"Huh I swear that goal looks familiar so I guess Roy can finally start playing again once Varlamov retires"

Joe Thornton is one point away from an 80 point season.

    and

James Reimer just had his third shut out with the Sharks. I'm going to be sad when he leaves us.

    Lets Go. Prestigious

Devils beat writer Tom Gulitti is leaving to go to work for NHL.com

he posted his farewell piece tonight (no idea why this was his last game and not the end of the year), and it is real good

These are the last words I have to say (on Fire & Ice) - Fire & Ice

I hope someone takes over for him beacuse their other beat writer is terrible and an old curmudgeon.

And to think some people still want McDavid to win the Calder...

I'd be very surprised to see Shaw gone...

McDavid is 4th in the *entire league* in points per game. And he's done it on a dumpster fire of a team. Panarin already has 3 years of professional experience, is 6 years older, and is playing on a line with the guy who is going to win the Art Ross, and with all of that he still is only the leading rookie scorer because McDavid missed a significant chunk of the season.
