I think the issue for the Hornets is that ATL, Miami and Boston all hold tiebreakers over them. I don't think we can get higher than 5, but to get to 5, we need Boston to lose. I'd be all for a Miami/Charlotte 1st round matchup. I'm looking to avoid the Hawks at all costs. It'll be fun to watch this all develop tonight, though.

Tons of awesome events to unfold - Mamba night, 73 wins on the table, East homecourt decided for 2 teams. Great time to be an NBA fan.

So apparently John Wall cussed out Wittman and a bunch of other Wizards players? Good for him. I bet Wittman or Grunfeld leaked that story, though. Seriously, both these morons better be gone once the season is over. I'll lose my mind if Grunfeld is given a THIRD chance to rebuild a team and clean up his mess.

 

Slam posted an article that wittman is likely being fired so... Yay?

i hope they consider thibs, he obviously works his players hard, but our defense all year was laughable.

 

Thibs could do wonders with that team, they'd start overachieving way early.

mitchell was a good enough short term coach for the wolves, as no one expected them to do much this year anyways. but i think a new coach will be a rejuvenation for this young team.

just got done listening to local sports radio and the wolves are looking "big fish" coach like a scotty brooks or thibs, they also mentioned kevin ollie???

 

Ollie could be a catch, seems it would be very tough to get him out of UConn though

who are the other potential guys? Ewing, Walton.. ?

 

Well, I just saw Marc Stein's twitter feed, looks like Thibs is already on the radar

 

I hope Ewing gets a hc job, he's been an assistant under really good coaches his whole coaching career. He really deserves it.
