I doubt you timed it this way intentionally, but when we reach 2022, can the thread be official mid-year list and discussion?

 

my plan is to stop the year threads with 2021, as that puts us at 62, and then do either the two albums we've had that were decided by tie-breaker early on, or the two highest second place albums.

I'm for this if only because 1/3 of the way through this year my list of albums I've listened to worth coming back to is already longer than last year

 

Woah, I completely forgot about Broken Social Scene - Forgiveness Rock Record. Not their best record, but a good one and I remain surprised they aren’t more popular here.

a late period blink 182 album being a winner and tupac, biggie, nas, wu-tang, etc. etc. having no wins should be surprising regardless of the site. it could be punknews and it would be surprising.
