Don't Panic was a really fun one that I discovered this year. Great job of VinSyn to release some Mexican horror. This one has the lead guy with a perm spend most of the movie in Dinosaur pajamas.

    It rules!

Sleepaway Camp II was my number 1. I have vivid memories of catching it on Starz late at night in high school and being blown away by how ridiculous and campy it was. I really think it's the movie that got me super into 80s horror/the slasher film. It and the 3rd Sleepaway are everything I want in a horror flick. Creative kills, horribly stereotyped characters, dark humor. It rules!

The original Child's Play is fine. I don't love it as much as the sequels, which might be controversial.
Night of the Demons has some killer monster design/effects. Great party movie.
They Live is good but I don't love it
Vampire’s Kiss has an unhinged Cage performance that everyone should see.
The Blob is so fucking dope. The effects in it are really the highlight. Plus Johnny Drama
I got into a conversation with friends about Kevin Costner earlier this year, specifically how I find him to be suuuper boring. I then realized I hadn't watched many of his movies, so they recced Bull Durham. I really loved it! Paxton stole the show IMO but Costner and Sarandon were both charming.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space is a lot of fun
Hack-o-Lantern has an incredible standup routine that has no bearing on the rest of the movie.
Beetlejuice is one of my favorites, a staple for me as a kid.

We might be on track for our weakest winner so far.

This decade has been good / interesting for different films splitting the vote. I feel that people are picking a wider variety of films than they were in the 60s and 70s, which is to be expected, but still good to see.

There’s still time for you all to watch A Brighter Summer Day before the 1991 poll

Damn, ‘91 is stupid stacked. These are both stone cold masterpieces and yet neither would make my top 5.

Die Hard wins it with 13 votes. Akira was in a close second place with 12 votes. Die Hard will move on to the bracket.

Lair of the White Worm is a lot of fun (and also occasionally boring). Last night on Criterion is tonight
