The Stars/Wild series is going to suck so bad

 

The other three western series' are awesome so far. Could see all three going to seven games.

 

You have a hot team in the Penguins versus a team who could lose their goalie a game or two and star defenseman is out and it just makes for a boring matchup.

I figured the Tampa/Detroit won't last long but so far the "rivalry" has been pretty entertaining to watch especially after the ending of today's game.

 

Knew it would be a tough series. Ducks honestly need to go with Andersen for game 2, but we'll see what happens. Hopefully Bieksa/Stoner are healthy and ready because Theodore isn't going to cut it for a physical series.

Woke up even more excited about last nights win than when I went to bed.

 

Me too! But that's because I fell asleep when it was 2-2 and watched the rest this morning. These West Coast games are gonna kill me.

 

Yeah, this was a rough morning. I pray we don't see OT games, unless they need one to win of course.

 

I really couldn't fault Gibson, thought he played well overall. I agree that it would be smart for the ducks to run with a 1a/1b approach like they did this season. Theodore looked like he was really struggling out there, kid can't cut it in the postseason, need bieksa back more than stoner.

When that first goal went in early I had game 7 flashbacks. Ducks played terrible last night. Not to take anything away from Nashville though. They outplayed the Ducks for probably 55 minutes.

 

Nashville was able to impose their will defensively. If Pekka stays solid, I like Nashville's chances after seeing how they opened up last night.

 

Maybe we'll switch sides tomorrow. February Ducks show up and....whatever terrible version of the Predators shows up.

 

After all the shenanigans last night this made me laugh way too much today.

Also Lightning down another player, JT Brown is out the rest of the series.

 

Turned the TV in just to catch the kessel goal. Great.

 

These Penguins jerseys are so much better than that pale garbage they've been wearing for the last however many years.
