listening to the kiasmos record from 2014 for first time and oh my god. it's a collaboration between olafur arnalds and janus rasmussen from bloodgroup (an electro-pop band i haven't heard).

    hmmm

Creeper are as good a rock band as any other coming through right now. I've been listening to them since just after their second EP but their new one blew me away when it came out and two months on, it's still killer.

This is probably my favourite song of the year so far.

I can't imagine that being anything but brilliant. In fact, Arnalds and anyone would have me listening.

Because wisdomfordebris didn't post a song. Even the laziest of slobs among us ought to hear this.

I can't remember the last time that I loved a song as much as I love Misery tbh.

Kiasmos is incredible. They fell off my radar for a bit but I saw recently that they put out a new EP towards the end of 2015. Love anything these guys put out.

    Glassell EP, by Other Mountains

These dudes are fucking beautiful. I've always described them as basically an ambient-post-rock-oriented Bon Iver, but I don't know how well that description applies to their new EP which was just released today and oh my goddamn shit I'm excited.

Want to recommend an up and coming Atlanta band, Vault 51. They've been working on their launch for a while.
RIYL: Saosin, Silverstein, Normandie, heavy alt-rock bands with melodic vocals.
