    @TedSchmosby Thanks! The guitar part was actually an idea my friend had when I told him I had an idea to do the song, hes actually a music teacher who has been helping me write my solo music, which hopefully will see the light of day in some way shape or form next month!

    It was my intention to keep the lo-fi sound from the original because that is what I love the most about it. It fits so well with the lyrical content and I wanted to try to get the same feel with my cover.

    I should probably listen to Alkaline Trio. I don't know why I didn't look into them while I was full on into my pop-punk phase years ago when I definitely at least knew of them at the time.
