There were so many United fans when I joined. You, Ed, Miles, CIMA, definitely a few others. I joined a year after you I think.

Yeah I specifically remember that season because of Miles. He made a post about how he was playing as United in fifa using our formation and how it was obvious that's why we were a one man team that year as he scored all his goals with Rooney :crylaugh:

  6. What happened to the other Spurs fans in here? Didn't we use to have quite a few in here?

I know I've mentioned it before, last summer I think, but the best moment in Chorus/APNet history was when someone PM'd me asking if "Woodwork" was an actual player. This was during Euro 2008 I think.

As I said, I have no problem with Bayern hate. Being a Bayern fan in East Germany pretty much gets me hate every day. Most of my best friends are Dortmund fans. I have absolutely no problem with hate or cheeky comments. But it is all give and take. Don't make some clever comments and then complain about the answers...

We are mostly discussing European competitions here, so I was just mentioning that Europeans sometimes have a different view than Americans have. As I said earlier, I definately dont want to shit on anyone (hope this is not too graphic), but I wll state my views just like I would if I would speak to some other European person. If the language was not appropiate then I will apologize but I think people in here just need to be more open to banter.

So to avoid further incident do we just want to remove "fuck you" from the thread vernacular?

  14. That team should've been so much better than they were lol

    Bale, Dempsey, Defoe, Gylfi

Paulie, Alex, Swoos, and Henry are Spurs fans. There used to maybe be one more

Rooney has been trying that for 10 years now. What a finish.

I think all 4 of them featured when they played a friendly vs. RBNY too, should had been a solid squad

  20. is this where @J.C.'s angst that he takes out on me comes from

And I just want to say this, because I thing it might need to be said. @orangehorizon, every single person in this thread understands your frustration with what happened on the pitch tonight. All of us have to suffer through concacaf World Cup qualifying away matches. Those make tonight's look decent. We totally get it. If you had written "fuck this ref" with every letter its own post we probably would've liked all of them. I think even people watching Bayern lose with glee would unilaterally agree the ref screwed them over. We've all suffered it.

So like. That wasn't the issue. And I don't think most of us will hold the things said in anger against you. We get it.

And to everyone else going forward, let's try to be better about directed anger. We've been good but we can always be better. Sports bring out emotions.

Now watch me make a fool of myself tomorrow during the match.

How many games would y'all say you attend yearly? I'm curious.

I would have said "fuck this ref" if I wanted to. I said what I said as a response to a comment. Nothing more, nothing less. For me it wasn't a big deal but apparently it is for all of you. Now I just can apologize for my inappropiate language. I did not meant to offend any other user.
