It's already growing on me the second time through. I don't like the drum loop at all.

 

Jack's certainly friends with enough of them to make that happen. Going to start crossing my fingers for a Sia feature.

Side note: the song jams better when it's turned up. I enjoyed the second listen a lot more.

I don't love it as much as Don't Take The Money, but I don't hate it either. Pretty neutral feeling about it. Still really excited for this album.

 

HAHA Zane straight out asked him if he would ever reunite fun to collaborate again and he just completely avoided the question.

Caught the end of the interview and missed the new song. This Carly Rae feature has me excited to listen to it though

Not sure how I feel about the verses, but the Carly feature really brings this song's hook to life.

 

Well, he said he'll work on whatever inspires him the most in a given moment. So it's not out of the question that he can be inspired by the idea of fun. somewhere down the line.

 

I don't think there's any plans in the foreseeable future, but I think they very specifically avoid ruling it out. I think one day they will do something together again in some way.

 

Definitely a little different for Bleachers, it's cool. Gotta listen to that Youtube stream now, the chorus had this weird compression thing happening that I'm assuming was because of the stream, I've never actually listened to Beats radio ha.

 

Chorus synths feel very Passion Pit.

 

Don't love this one immediately like DTTM

 

Same, but it's growing on me for sure.

 

I do like how it leads into it though. Hope it grows on me but I don't want to wear out two consecutive tracks before the album comes out.

Is Jack doing his Shadow Of The City festival again this year or do you think he's taking a year off from it to support the new Bleachers album?

I had kinda forgotten about fun. "Some Nights" is still one of the best songs to hit the top 40 in years. Has Nate completely fallen off the map after his solo album?

 

He is. It was mentioned in one of the interviews. I'm mad I'll be leaving the state just around when it usually happens

 

Song is fantastic. This album is gonna be incredible.
