Jessica Alba was on my plane to Philadelphia in November and I felt really bad because everyone kept talking about it really loudly

 

For as often as I fly, and especially in and out of high profile airports like New York and LA, I have yet to encounter a celeb. Or if I did, I didn't know it.

 

Would you guys be famous if given the choice? Like a magical genie type situation? Not gonna lie it'd be tempting but between my introversion and general inability to talk to people I feel like it'd cripple me.

edit: this question is strictly for all of you who aren't already famous.

 

I saw Ken Marino on a plane, one of the movies was Wanderlust and I couldn't help but wonder if he was watching himself in it

 

I've thought about this often. The answer is no. I'd love to try it for like, one year though.

 

I worked with an accountant who took great pride in opening up for the Mighty Mighty Bosstones back in the 90s.

I think having every little thing you do be scrutinized sounds terrible. Having accessibility to a lot of reaources, etc would be great but that much attention would not be for me.

 

@Kiana That's true, that's how I'd have to do it. And who knows, maybe aura of mystery would play to my advantage haha. I already get uncomfortable in public when I just feel like people are looking at me so it'd definitely be tough.

 

I've gone to Comic Con for the last like, 5 years, and have literally seen about 100 celebs. Do I win?!?!?!?!?

 

Kelly Ripa was getting on the It's A Small World ride at Disney when we were getting off, does that count?

 

Speaking of... this morning there's a guy on his laptop in a row of three seats, sitting in the middle seat with a bag on the seat to his left, and a jacket on the seat to his right. How do you have either such little awareness or so much entitlement?

 

A man got shot outside my office at lunch. Crazy.

Wow. It really is a small world after all.

 

He's "seriously injured". He was shot in the head. The Garda think it was related to a gangland "war" going on at the minute, but they also suspect it was a case of mistaken identity, which is absolutely terrifying because i was eating lunch in a building next to it.

 

There was like a gang war in the Army, which is super weird to me. I was so glad I was secluded from that shit.

 

When I was in high school I was in Las Vegas with my parents and stepped onto an elevator with DMC of Run DMC. Wish I still had that picture, I'm sure it'd be good for laughs now.

My mom wouldn't let me ask him to sign my shelltoes

 

I helped Lou Ferrigno use in elevator in San Antonio once. Wish I had snapped a picture but I was drunk as fuck.

 

When The Office finished filming the cast went to Scranton for a big "wrap party" and after all the official activities were done they ended up 'secretly' bartending at a bar downtown, so I ended up getting beers from John Krasinski (Jim) and Jenna Fischer (Pam). Brian Baumgartner (Kevin) also bought shots for the entire bar, so that was cool.

In college I worked on the programming board, which booked acts and worked the events. We booked Paramore and long story short Hayley Williams told my friend and I that we had "sweet moves" (we hadn't slept in days thanks to exams and if you've seen Elaine from Seinfeld dance, it was kind of like that). Also in this same time period a friend and I accidentally walked in on Lupe Fiasco getting a massage after his concert, so there's that.

 

That was my dream in high school.

 

I have a habit of accidentally running into people. Accidentally ran into Pusha T, Ryan Gosling, and Donald Glover (all on different occasions of course). I've met Troy Aikman a few times but he was incredibly rude every time especially considering I was like 11 at the time. And I shook Barack Obama's hand. I think that's all that's worth mentioning.
