Well if Seth moves to smackdown he could finally feud with AJ but I have no idea what his next move is. I kind of hope it's not just being fresh meat for joe.

There's room for that on smackdown but it would be way too obvious, also turning Finn probably won't happen for awhile. Unless they make them all face... lol

 

Oh shit! I'm an idiot. The SD house show in June is actually a live taping. Wow, I couldn't tell you the last time they did a live show in Rochester.

 

Didn't they do a ton of shows there like a year or two ago and the crowds were absolutely awful? Maybe I'm thinking of Albany or something, not sure.

 

You may be thinking of Albany. Also I don't know why I posted that in the speculation thread.

 

Albany used to get a lost of big PPVs back in the day apparently.

 

This was live shows, not ppvs like raw and smackdown a lot over only a few months. It was literally like early last year or the year before.

 

No Rochester has had only house shows since January 2015 (when I started watching). I've been able to get free tickets to every one since through work. I just got the presale code so I'm debating about whether paying for good tickets or just risking getting free decent tickets again.

 

According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com, Brock Lesnar is currently not booked for the Payback PPV on April 30th in San Jose, CA. Lesnar's first title defense is reportedly going to be against Braun Strowman at either Extreme Rules on June 4th or Bad Blood on July 9th.

It could end up being Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns at Payback to establish Strowman as the #1 contender. It's possible that Strowman would win with WWE protecting Reigns as much as possible in defeat. It's interesting to note that both Kevin Owens and Finn Balor are supposed to get Universal Title rematches. WWE could potentially do a fatal four-way match so Reigns doesn't have to take the fall.

It's unknown what is planned for Summerslam but Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns is still scheduled for a future major event.

So, seems the ideal way to go is Roman/Braun at Payback, with Braun winning (but probably not cleanly).

We get Braun losing to Brock at Extreme Rules

At Bad Blood, we could get a Fatal Four Way with Finn/KO/Roman/Brock, Brock retains

And by Summerslam, we get Roman/Brock for the Universal Title and KO/Finn for the US Title (or if KOs dropped it by then, just as a feud).

 

Seeing Reigns long-term booking always makes me sad, but, I got thinking about how these PPVs could play out. AJ and Cena are likely gonna be apart for a while, but, its totally possible that SS 2017 is gonna come down to 2 men left, and it'll be Cena vs AJ. Have them put on a 15-20min war as the sole survivors for their team, with AJ winning in the end

 

The worst part of all of this is, next Mania is the end of Lesnar's deal. If he doesn't re-up, which I think is safe to say he likely won't, then the only guy who gets over out of his entire tenure in the modern era is Roman Reigns. A total waste. Stars could have been made.

Looking at the roster the guys you could put in Romans spot at Mania next year Finn, Sami, Nak, Joe, Cesaro, AJ, KO or even Big E if he gets a big singles push. But that won't happen.

i think brock re-signs. i dont think ufc is really in the picture anymore and what else is he going to do? maybe a bellator would bring him in but he'd probably be taking a decent pay cut. wwe is really the only option for him right now.

 

Dude doesn't need to lift a finger for the rest of his life and would still die in a pile of cash. I think Brock would be thrilled to retire and go hunt bears with his fists in some secluded woods. We'll see.

Kinda just came to terms that reigns will be one of, if not the main dude for the foreseeable future. I do hope we get a push for balor though.

I'm not surprised but they have to be stupid to not realize how great smackdown is doing as it's own brand and how much more affinity the fans have for it.
