Dustin Kensrue was super nice when I met him.

Devin from Emery, too. He and I watched Anberlin play standing side by side.

All the other band members I've met have been at like Warped Tour meet and greets.

 

i met joshua radin after his show once and he was also very nice. gave me an inside scoop on his then upcoming album, which i submitted to ap and it got posted as news. actually that was the only time i ever submitted news haha.

 

Yeah! Been here for like five years I think? I fluctuate between post-production and operating camera with the production company I work with. It's a small company so I'm kind of all over the place lol. We do some cool stuff though, it's fun, but I'm tiring of it a bit.

 

My dream is to meet Enrique Iglesias. It'll be amazing. I have it planned out. It's a work in progress.

Also to meet lisa Kudrow and have her adopt me. Also a work in progress.

 

Oh wow that's awesome. I can understand getting burnt out on it though. Anything TV/film oriented seems so stressful

 

Rivers Cuomo, Tyson Ritter, Travis Barker and The Kooks are the nicest celebrities I've met and I had quite a lengthy conversation with Rivers which would have blown 15 year old me's mind! Alex Turner is probably the celebrity I had the most meh encounter with.

 

RZA was the coolest person I've had a conversation with. lol

 

Fucking sweet. Recovers 'lost record' is on Spotify. Love this album.

 

I've had a couple encounters with Dave Chappelle and they've all been pleasant

 

I met The Early November and Ace was super nice. I think Joe was pissed off about something because he was kind of curt and brief.


I met Linkin Park once and Mike Shinoda was kind of rude, but Chester and their drummer were both really nice.

 

I've met all of TEN at various shows and they've always been super nice, super genuine. Once Joe actually asked for a picture with me because we both wore Foxing shirts to the TEN show that night (Joe manages Foxing, for those who don't know). Then we talked for a while about the band, haha.

Will Swan from DGD was super chill when I met him, and Jon Mess complimented my tattoos.

My biggest celeb moment was when I met Mark Hoppus, my musical idol (blink is my favorite band). Girlfriend got us on the list for a taping of Hoppus on Music when it was still on Fuse (incidentally, it was actually an episode where AvA was the guest, so I got to see Tom up close as well, though I didn't meet him). The whole thing was an amazing experience.

Anyway after the taping, some hardcore fans--myself included--waited outside the building for him to see if we could get pictures with him. Not sure how long we actually waited, but I feel like it was almost an hour. Got to the point where we considered leaving a few times. Eventually he came out, along with a friend or assistant, and he started taking pictures with people. He got swarmed by all the other people who were waiting, and his friend pulled him away because they were on their way to a screening of The Other F Word. So he left before I got a picture with him; I was incredibly bummed out.

Girlfriend and I started walking down the street, and Mark was a block or so ahead of us. Didn't want to run up after him though, since I knew he had to get somewhere. Eventually they stopped to hail a cab and we caught up to them, and I knew it was my one chance. Asked him if I could get a quick picture and it's one of the worst pictures of me because I'm so out of my mind excited/starstruck that I look ridiculous, but it was the best moment ever. Didn't really get to talk to him at all since he was in a rush, but I didn't care. Here's the picture.

although there's prolly no bigger of a douche than @scott surette, who refused to give me his pax east badge so i could resell it on the secondary market

 

I've met all the Deftones except Frank outside a show in Atlanta, as well as Dustin from Thrice. Also, Motion City Soundtrack and Coheed & Cambria on two separate meet and greets.

Currently right now I am doing everything but doing my assignment for my Management Seminar that is due tomorrow.

 

Frankie Stallone used to go over my moms house and play guitar with my uncle

 

Andrew was the first musician/celebrity(lol?) that I ever met. He was incredibly friendly and 14 year old me was dying. This story brings a huge smile to my face. What a lovely human being.

 

i was on the set when this video was filmed and met all of the members. my life peaked at the age of 4.

My first Warped Tour year was '05, I had just finished my first year of middle school. I met Gerard Way and he told me to stay and school and to never stop rocking on.

 

lol I don't think I've ever met anyone famous. Closest thing is that I'm acquaintances with Richard Carpenter's son.

 

I didn't think I had anything to add to the famous people talk but I just remembered that the fact that the bassist of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones was my college advisor/professor is relevant to some people.

 

I passed by Jimmy Fallon while at my layover at LAX.

 

In 10 years you'll all be able to say you talked to a famous person on a forum . jk
