I wouldn't buy a MacBook Air, the processors are way outdated and the screen sucks. The 13" non-Touchbar would be the at to go if you don't need the bigger configuration.

I'll never have the need for a Mac Pro, but it's certainly a good thing that Apple is compelled to make an upgradable machine again. It must have been awesome being one of the 5 journalists in that room, too, ha.

 

Bought this in January for grad school, I don't run intensive programs on it often but been loving it so far.

I bought the 2016 12" MacBook and I absolutely love it. Whether you should go for that or the Pro probably depends on the work you'll be doing. If you're like me and just use it 98% of the time for the internet then it's perfect.

 

I have the 2016 MacBook Pro without the touch bar and it's really nice. I love everything about it and have been using it for audio and video editing as well

 

I would never use a Mac Pro... or at least not anytime soon but I'm excited to see what they come out with. I always get excited to see new products, even if it's something I won't use.

 

Still have my 07' MacBook (black). Back when they had a removable battery. Still works like a charm... just need a new battery. Next purchase.

 

Thanks for the feedback. I think I'm deciding between the 12" MacBook and the 13" Pro without the touch bar. I won't have any graphic design related projects but I will have to do some biomechanics related research projects later on. Plus I'd like to go with one that will last longer because I don't to have to worry about replacing a computer once I graduate and have to start paying back loans lol.

Yeah they shipped from just a couple hours away so they got here super early. I love them.

 

Finally upgraded from a 6 to a 7 today. Interesting change. Any pointers or things I should known right off that bat? Major differences?

I'm excited for the new iPhones to come out later this year... but I'm sick of hearing nothing but leaks and rumors about the phone in all of my podcasts lol

 

I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this-

I manually manage the music on my phone from my computer in iTunes, there is one less song on my phone than what is on my computers library and I cannot figure out which one it is.

Any way to figure this out?

 

Does anyone else's alarm not work on some days? Mine didn't go off this morning and it's happened a couple of other times before as well. I have a 6S with an alarm set at 5:30 every weekday and it just goes off on the days it feels like it

 

my phone has been fucking struggling since the update. has overheated and force restarted itself pretty regularly since

 

The first thing I'd do is comb through your iTunes purchases. Most of my music is imported from other sources, so I know that if I'm dealing with syncing issues between devices, it's typically for something that has some sort of purchase history or DRM that causes it to act wonky.

I know that's vague, but that's only because when I've run into those issues I just kinda click around in the purchases section until I figure it out....

 

Mine hasn't been overheating but has definitely force restarted more than usual since the update. I've got a 6 and the battery is dying, also. I can't wait until September so I can upgrade

 

i have a 6s, before the update it was probably running the best it had ever run, hah

 

I just updated my 6S Plus today because it kept force restarting on me. Based on what I'm reading that won't make it stop? Haha.
